TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE ONLINE STORE areazone.eu

Attention

Before using the following sample template, prepared based on Polish law for stores selling on the Polish market, consider whether it is necessary to adapt it to the individual needs of the online store. Please also fill in the sections marked in yellow accordingly. Instructions on how to fill them out correctly are included in the Trusted Shops Manual. This template was last updated in June 2025.

    1. Definitions

      The terms used in the Regulations mean:

      1. Customer  – a natural person, a legal person or an organizational unit that is not a legal person, to which special regulations grant legal capacity, which places an Order within the Store;
      2. Consumer  – A customer who is a natural person and meets the criteria specified in the definition of art. 22[1] of the Civil Code. According to this definition, a consumer is a natural person who enters into a legal transaction with an entrepreneur that is not directly related to their business or professional activity.
      3. Civil Code  – Act of 23 April 1964 (Journal of Laws No. 16, item 93, as amended);
      4. Regulations  – these Regulations for the provision of services electronically as part of  the online store area-led.eu LED Manufacturer;
      5. Online Store (Store)  – online service available at ul. Dworska 12, 61-619 Poznań, through which the Customer may, in particular, place Orders;
      6. Goods  – products presented in the Online Store;
      7. Sales Agreement  – a sales agreement for Goods within the meaning of the Civil Code, concluded between Area-Led Polska Sp. z o. o. and the Customer, concluded using the online service of the Store;
      8. Consumer Rights Act  – Act of 30 May 2014 on Consumer Rights (Journal of Laws of 2014, item 827);
      9. Act on the provision of services by electronic means  – Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of services by electronic means (Journal of Laws No. 144, item 1204, as amended);
      10. Order  – a declaration of will of the Customer, aimed directly at concluding a Sales Agreement, specifying in particular the type and number of Goods.
    2. General provisions
      1. These Regulations define the rules of using the online store available at: areazone.eu and are the regulations referred to in Article 8 of the Act on the provision of services by electronic means.
      2. The online store, operating at the address: area-led.eu, is run by AREA-LED POLSKA Sp. z o. o. ul. Dworska 12, 61-619 Poznań (POLAND) NIP: 7792515260 Entry number: 0000839473 REGON: 385986327 e-mail: sklep@area-led.eu, contact phone number: 668689177, 616772197
      3. These Regulations specify in particular the rights and obligations of the Customer and the Seller.
        1. rules for registering and using an account in the online store;
        2. terms and conditions for making electronic reservations for products available in the online store;
        3. terms and conditions for placing Orders electronically within the online store;
        4. principles of concluding Sales Agreements using the services provided within the online store.
      4. Using the online store is possible provided that the IT system used by the Customer meets the following minimum technical requirements:
        1. The customer of area-led.eu Store Wholesale LED Manufacturer should independently adjust the hardware settings.
      5. In accordance with applicable law, Area-Led Polska Sp. z o. o. reserves the right to limit the provision of services via the Online Store to persons who are over the age of 18. In such a case, potential Customers will be notified of the above.
      6. Customers can access these Regulations at any time via the link located on the main page of the area-led.eu Industrial lighting manufacturer website,  and save and print their content.
    3. Rules for using the Online Store
      1. In order to ensure the security of the transmission of messages and data in connection with the services provided on the Website, the Online Store takes technical and organizational measures appropriate to the level of risk to the security of the services provided, in particular measures to prevent unauthorized persons from obtaining and modifying personal data sent over the Internet.
      2. The customer is obliged to:
        1. not providing or transmitting content prohibited by law, e.g. content promoting violence, defamatory or violating personal rights and other rights of third parties,
        2. using the online store in a way that does not disrupt its functioning, in particular through the use of specific software or devices,
        3. use the online store in a manner consistent with the provisions of the law in force in the territory of the Republic of Poland, the provisions of the Regulations, as well as the general principles of using the Internet.
    4. Procedure for concluding a Sales Agreement
      1. Information about the Goods provided on the Store's websites, in particular their descriptions, technical and operational parameters and prices, constitute an invitation to conclude a contract, within the meaning of Article 71 of the Civil Code. 
      2. In order to conclude a Sales Agreement via the Online Store, go to the website areazone.eu spotlights and busbars, select the appropriate product, taking subsequent technical steps based on the messages displayed to the Customer and the information available on the website.
      3. The selection of Goods ordered by the Customer is made by adding them to the shopping cart.
      4. During the Order placement process – until the "Order with obligation to pay" button is clicked. The Customer has the option to modify the entered data and the selected Product. To do this, the Customer should follow the messages displayed to the Customer and the information available on the website.
      5. After the Customer using the online store has provided all the necessary data, a summary of the placed order will be displayed. The order summary will contain information regarding:
        1. subject of the order,
        2. the unit and total price of the ordered products or services, including delivery costs and additional costs (if any),
        3. selected payment method,
        4. selected delivery method,
        5. delivery time.
      6. In order to send an Order, it is necessary to provide personal data marked as mandatory and click the "Order with an obligation to pay" button.
      7. Sending an Order by the Customer constitutes a declaration of intent to conclude a sales agreement with Area-Led Polska Sp. z o. o. running the areazone.eu store for LED rail luminaires and LED accessories  , in accordance with the provisions of the Regulations.
      8. After placing the Order, the Customer receives an e-mail entitled: Shop areazone.eu - You have placed an order no. ... (order number), containing the final confirmation of all essential elements of the Order.
      9. The Agreement is deemed to have been concluded upon receipt by the Customer of the e-mail message referred to above.
      10. The Agreement is concluded in Polish. The recording, securing and sharing of the Order data and general terms and conditions (Online Store Regulations) is done via e-mail.
    5. Delivery
      1. Delivery of Goods is limited to the area of the whole of Europe  and  takes place to the address indicated by the Customer when placing the Order. There is a possibility of delivery worldwide after prior consultation with the store staff and approval of the shipping price by the Customer of the area-led.eu store.
      2. Delivery of the ordered Goods is carried out by courier: UPS courier, Furgonetka.pl Service, IAI Broker. Delivery costs are - go to the link: SHIPPING PRICE LISTS . Delivery costs will also be indicated at the time of placing the Order. 
      3. The delivery time is from 2 to 30 business days from the day the Customer sends the Order. The delivery time depends on the type of purchased goods. Goods available in stock are most often delivered to the Customer the second day after purchase.
      4. Made to order items are described in each made to order listing. Estimated delivery time is 2 to 45 calendar days.
    6. Prices and payment methods
      1. The prices of the Goods are given in Polish zloty and include all components, including VAT.
      2. The customer has the option to pay the price:
        1. by bank transfer to the account number:  PL46109013460000000147338981,
        2. payment via: VISA, MasterCard, Maestro.
        3. by payment card at the company's headquarters,
        4. and all other forms of payment available in the store and on store auctions.
  1. Right to withdraw from the contract
    1. A Customer who is a Consumer has a 14-day period to withdraw from the contract. The Consumer has the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period to withdraw from the contract expires after 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods (receipt of the package).
    2. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unequivocal signed statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail).
    3. You may use the model withdrawal form, but this is not obligatory.
    4. In order to meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send information regarding the exercise of your right to withdraw from the contract before the withdrawal deadline expires.
  2. Consequences of withdrawal from the contract
      1. If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), immediately and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to exercise your right to withdraw from this contract. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment that you used in the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any case, you will not incur any fees as a result of this reimbursement.
  3. Carrier complaints
      1. Reports regarding complaints, carrier complaints and irregularities related to orders should be submitted only and exclusively electronically to the email address sklep@area-led.eu. The Seller recommends that the email report contains the following information: Buyer's identification data, a concise description of the situation. In the event that the carrier delivers a damaged/damaged package/package with damaged goods inside, you should: prepare a damage report, write it in the presence of the courier at the time of delivery of the package, or within no more than 1 hour from the moment of delivery. Then you should notify the seller of the situation electronically, send the prepared damage report and add attached photos documenting the damage.
  4. Complaints about Goods
    1. Area-Led Polska Sp. z o. o., as the seller, is liable to the Customer who is a Consumer within the meaning of Art. 22[1] of the Civil Code, under the warranty for defects to the extent specified in the Civil Code, in particular in Art. 556 and Art. 556[1] - 556[3] and subsequent Art. of the Civil Code.
    2. Complaints arising from the violation of rights guaranteed by law or under these Regulations should be sent to sklep@areazone.eu. The Seller undertakes to consider each complaint within 14 days.
    3. Area-Led Polska Sp. z o. o., the owner of the online store with LED Lighting, is the manufacturer and seller of goods offered in the store. The manufacturer and seller are liable for the warranty of the goods sold under the terms and for the period indicated in the warranty card. If the warranty document provides for such a possibility, the Customer may submit their claims under the warranty directly to the authorized service, the address of which is provided in the warranty card.
  5. Complaints regarding the provision of services by electronic means
    1. The online store takes steps to ensure that the store's website and pages operate correctly to the extent that results from current technical knowledge and undertakes to remove any technical irregularities reported by Customers within a reasonable time.
    2. The Customer may report any irregularities related to the operation of the website and the store's websites in writing to the following address: Area-Led Polska Sp. z o. o., ul. Dworska 12, 61-619 Poznań, or by e-mail to the following address: sklep@areazone.eu.
    3. In the complaint, the Customer should describe the type and date of the irregularity related to the operation of the Store.
  6. Dispute Resolution and Final Provisions
    1. A customer who is a consumer may, if interested, use out-of-court methods of handling complaints and pursuing claims. Disputes concerning online purchases can be resolved through mediation proceedings before the Voivodeship Inspectorates of Trade Inspection or a trial before an arbitration court at the Voivodeship Inspectorate of Trade Inspection. The consumer may also use other methods of out-of-court dispute resolution and, for example, submit their complaint via the EU ODR online platform, available at: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/ 
    2. In matters not regulated in these Regulations, the provisions of the Civil Code, the provisions of the Act on the provision of services by electronic means and other relevant provisions of Polish law shall apply.
Instructions for completing point 7 "Right of withdrawal":

A consumer making a purchase in an online store must be informed, before placing an order, both of their right to withdraw from the contract and of the exceptional situations in which this right is excluded (Article 12, points 9-12 of the Consumer Rights Act). This information (with the exception of information on the lack of the right to withdraw from the contract) can be provided using the model instruction on withdrawal from the contract constituting Annex No. 1 to the Consumer Rights Act. An entrepreneur who delivers a correctly completed instruction to the consumer meets the information obligations specified in Article 12, paragraph 1, points 9-11 of the Act.

Instructions for completing the withdrawal form

1.

  • in the case of a contract requiring the transfer of ownership of several items that are delivered separately: "on which you come into possession of the last item or on which a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you comes into possession of the last item." ; 
  • in the case of a contract requiring the transfer of ownership of goods delivered in lots or parts: "on which you come into possession of the last lot or part or on which a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you comes into possession of the last lot or part." ; 
  • in the case of contracts for the regular delivery of goods for a specified period of time: "on which you came into possession of the first item or on which a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you came into possession of the first item." .

  • Please include your name, full mailing address and, if available, your telephone number, fax number and e-mail address.

  • "You can also fill out and submit the withdrawal form or any other clear statement electronically on our website. If you make use of this option, we will immediately send you a confirmation of receipt of the withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail). "

  • We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods or until you have provided us with proof that you have sent back the goods, depending on which event occurs first. "

  • Please send back or hand over the item to us immediately and in any case no later than 14 days from the date on which you informed us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send back the item before the expiry of the 14-day period. "
6. Depending on the selected delivery method (some delivery methods include a free return option), the return costs are borne by:
  • We bear the costs of returning the items as the shipping company. ";
  • “ You as the Customer will have to bear the direct costs of returning the items. ”;
  • “ You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods: PLN 17.90. ”;
    or if the costs of returning the goods cannot, with reasonable judgment, be calculated in advance: “ You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. These costs are estimated at a maximum of approximately PLN 160. ”;
  • or if, in the case of contracts concluded away from business premises, the item cannot, due to its nature, be normally returned by post and it has been delivered to the consumer's place of residence at the time the contract is concluded: " We will collect the item at our expense ."
    and " You are only liable for any diminished value of the item resulting from use other than what was necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item. "
